GENERAL SUPPORT AND REFERRAL SERVICES
At the Support Nest Initiative, we are dedicated to addressing the issues around the mental well-being of Servicemen, women and their immediate families.. Support groups comprising members of the targeted communities are formed and they assist in driving the message of ending stigmatisation and raising awareness. Support group leaders are equipped with information to provide referrals and act as a first responders within their communities. If you would like to join our growing support group structure. We are part of a strong network of mental health professionals, so we are able to refer you to specialists in whatever area you require support. Our referral services are completely free.
We organise awareness workshops and seminars in barracks, cantonments and other service persons’ communities for members of these communities. These outreaches give members of the community engage and highlight the issues that affect their communities with regards to their mental well-being. Please contact us today if you need our services. We work with a team of qualified and experienced Clinical psychologists who give non-judgmental and professional advice. We would typically cover the cost of your first consultation with the counsellors. Our services are confidential and because we understand a number of members in our targeted communities prefer strict anonymity, we have made counselling available through different channels.
